It is magnificently beautiful. The eyesight goes along the white peaks of Pirin mountain and the view is endless. Snow is now rare in the towns, while in the mountains it lingers from December to the end of April.
The ski season in the winter capital of the Balkans, Bansko, is long and full of events. For the student holiday, 8th December, the cable car opens its doors. In the middle of December every year there is a grand opening party of the new ski season. The list of ski legends who have attended the event is long, accepting the cause of being ambassadors of Bansko as a ski center in the world.
